Sunday Night

Well, Fresher’s Week is almost over. I really feel at home here at university and I am thoroughly looking forward to the year ahead of me.
I am just back from the gym. This was my second time at the gym which really is an excellent facility. I have a year’s membership so I will be at the gym plenty. Now, I am about to rustle something up to eat.
I have had a brilliant time during Fresher’s Week and have met some great people. The Student Union, where I have spent a lot this week, is really good. Everything from a cheap cooked breakfast reading the paper to a great night out watching live music is possible at the Student Union.

Well, I am nearing the end of my first week at university. It has flown by! I’m going to really enjoy the course. So far it has been really interesting.
I will be posting bits of what I learn onto my Mechanical Engineering Blog which can be accessed from the link at the top of this page. Unfortunately, I do not have the time to post everything I study but I will post bits now and again and hopefully it will make an interesting read for anybody interested in Mechanical Engineering.

Going to Unversity
by admin on Jul.03, 2008, under university
At the end of September I will enter a completely new era in my life; I will be going to university. I can’t wait!
I have wanted to go to university since I was young and I have wanted to do mechanical engineering since the beginning of high school. I have worked extremely hard to achieve the exams results which have allowed me to get an unconditional offer for mechanical engineering at Heriot Watt University. A course I am thoroughly looking forward to pursuing.
When at university, I will be staying on campus. Already, I am preparing for university. I have a rather large list of everything I think I will need for staying at university. In fact, I have even started buying things and putting them away on my “university shelf” in my cupboard. Being this organised is something Maaz finds very difficult to understand.
Well, I will write more about going to university soon. I am away out tonight with Amanda, Liz and Maaz. Liz departs tomorrow.
